~Good value for money in quiet village

My husband and I stayed at the Old Oak Tree for one night with friends.

This is excellent value for money. The accommodation (in a separate adjacent block) has everything you could need for a short stay. The room was spacious with a small sofa and coffee table, tea/coffee making facilities and king size (firm) bed. The only slight disadvantage was that we were unable to open the window overnight as it was on the ground floor and full size but this is a minor point. The evening meal was very good and also the breakfast. The staff were all very friendly and courteous.

Lovely overnight stay

As this was a return visit, obviously we really like this cosy establishment.

Rooms are modern clean and well equipped and the pub has a lovely beer garden and serves great food.Staff are friendly and helpful and as the owner was away at the time of our visit, we were well looked after by Mollie, the owners daughter.
