we have loved the breakfast, fresh and delicious.
the staff is very friendly and helpful. however, the hotel lacks something, i would say refurbishment and changes. first thing to look at would be heating. the room was chilly and the radiator felt to small for the room. the bathroom had no heating at all. there was a problem with water temperature too. tap water was freezing ( coming from a hot water tap). the shower was electric and kept on changing temperatures, and having no heating in bathroom didn't help. the was a ventilation hole above the beds and you could hear passing cars through it, so it was noisy. refurbishment needed, but the staff is great.
Rooms with a delusion of grandure.
The staff were excellent, however, I have stayed in hotels, B and B`s all over the world and in my opinion this room was not worth the money.
It had a loose toilet seat and the shower tray drain was blocked. I had safety concerns as well. The lay out of the room meant that the bedside lights were plugged into a socket using an adaptor which was touching the bed and could easily have been accidently touched whilst sleeping. Also the only place to plug the kettle in meant that it was very close to the plug sockets and the television. Water and steam together with electricity. The `double bed` was 2 single beds bolted together with 2 single mattresses. Again I would like to say that the staff were first class.
