About the hotel
Weston Hall originated in 1550 when it was built as a small dower house. In early 2012, the Petrouis family took on Weston Hall with a view to making major refurbishments over a 6-month period. After restoring the building to its former glory, Weston Hall re - opened on 16th November 2012.
The Hall now incorporates 'The Cellar' - an informal dining venue and an event venue with luxury accommodation. Our new casual dining area, The Cellar provides the perfect excuse to visit this beautiful building on a regular basis! The Cellar will specialise in serving classic English dishes made from locally sourced produce. Expect to see a selection of steaks, homemade pies and other favourites on the menu. The Cellar Bar & Lounge will also serve tasty cakes and sandwiches throughout the day and cocktails, pre-dinner drinks and bar snacks in the evening. By day, The Cellar Bar & Lounge will serve delicious afternoon teas. Enjoy a selection of delicate sandwiches, warm scones with clotted cream and preserves along with an assortment of homemade cakes, all presented on a traditional tiered platter. Alternatively you'll have the option to upgrade to a celebration afternoon tea which includes a flute of champagne, why not? Booked a room via late rooms for our 30th anniversary and loved it.
Booking process was so easy. We have eaten at Weston hall many times and decided to treat ourselves for a overnight stay as it always looks the perfect location in the countryside, it was worth every penny as from the moment you arrive you are made very welcome. Upon arrival we were shown our room which we could not fault followed by a drink on the terrace while enjoying the afternoon spring sun, this itself was very relaxing. Later in the evening we went down for our meal and it was such a relaxing atmosphere, all the staff go out of there way to make sure everyone is happy, food was great as always. A lovely nights sleep followed in very comfy bed. The next day was started with a lovely continental breakfast in the conservatory, staff were available but did not watch over you
Many thanks to all staff and will be back again
Stayed here just for one night while on business in the area.
Beautiful building with stunning grounds. Loved my room at the top of the house - full of beams and character. The hotel has been beautifully restored and has a very relaxing boutiquey feel with lots of painted furniture and muted decor, whilst retaining the quirky original features of a building from the 1500s. I had room service for my meal, which was served quickly and was beautiful (probably the best Eton mess I've ever tasted!).
Bed was super comfy and shower was powerful. All in all a great stay in a lovely hotel - will certainly return next time I'm in the area.
