100% would recommend it to a friend
We have just spent a long weekend at the end of February at this lovely 400 year old inn.
Our room was large and warm.. There was a lovely view over the river and the furnishings and decor reflected the age of the building and its riverside environment. There were long walks in both directions along the river banks and easy acsess to the town. The owners were friendly and welcoming and provided a delicious full english breakfast..We also ate in the pub on two evenings. We really enjoyed our stay.
An Inn with character in a lovely location
I wish I had been there in warmer weather, and able to explore the town.
The people were friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, but it was definitely not a modern hotel. I didn't mind the sloping floors, I almost found them charming. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot and good water flow. The service in the pub was great, and the burger I had was ok. I'm not sure I'll ever have the chance to go back to Burnham, but if I do, I understand there is one room that faces the river with a lovely view.
