Don't stay in the garden room - disappointing and not worth it
The room was hut in garden, Very clean & brightly decorated.
First impressions good. However no proper curtain to keep out the light and no running water in room. Not even basin. Old fashioned outside w/c in garden nearby, but with no sink. Needed to go to front of house, enter code in door lock, go upstairs to wash hands after toilet. (When doing this early morning found cat poo in the bath.) Bed was basically an airbed. Breakfast was either veggie or vegan. So the veggie full English was soya bacon & soya sausage. (Should have gone for the beans on toast) The room was cheap (for Glastonbury) but still not worth the £50 we paid. (NB They do have other rooms in the house which may well be better quality & value)
Not just a bed and breakfast!
I can honestly say that this b&b has the purest energy of any place I have ever been.
Sister Dominic is a vibrant and loving character, exceptionally hospitable and an absolute tonic for the weary traveller of life. Indeed, if you have lost your faith in humanity, stay here. Many people come to Glastonbury for many different things and Living Waters gave me a far greater perspective on the reasons for my visit than I expected.
This is the epicentre of the heart of Glastonbury. It's walking distance to the Abbey, Tor, Chalice Well and the Red Spring, and the High Street.
