About the hotel
Marlow has it all. . .
and it has the Prince of Wales; which has it all for the discerning drinker, diner and guest. The Prince of Wales is a very comfortable and spacious pub with three distinct bar areas, yet it successfully manages to retain the atmosphere and ambience of a real 'local' - a quality fast disappearing in these days of themed, pub chains. This welcoming appeal is due to the cross section of clientele that includes local sportsmen and women, businesses and people of all ages who frequent this pub on a regular basis: no doubt to take advantage of the company, the banter, and the friendliness it affords - alongside its range of fine food and ales, served by very pleasant, happy, bar staff who all live locally - again adding to that ambience of a genuine 'local' pub. The Prince of Wales has the unusual benefit, and luxury within Marlow, of being able to offer a large off street parking space for 22 vehicles in its own car park. Access to the pub from the car park is through the equally spacious yet relaxing, protected patio area that can handle up to 40 people, appeals to those taking the summer sun - and smokers alike!

100% would recommend it to a friend
Recently stayed at the Prince of Wales pub in Marlow for one night and can highly recommend it.
The rooms are located to the side of the pub so you have your own locked entrance and we heard no noise from the pub at all. We arrived early, 11:30 am, as we had a lunch reservation at midday elsewhere and although our room wasn’t ready we were given the key so we could come back later and go directly to our room. The pub itself is well located just a few minutes walk from the high street and there is ample car parking available and we were able to leave our car there for the duration of our stay. We stayed in room 1 – the double room. It was clean and comfortable and the en suite bathroom is a really good size. There are tea and coffee making facilities and our fridge was stocked with milk, cereal, muffins and yoghurts. On our way out in the late afternoon/evening, we stopped into the pub for a couple of drinks; it seemed to us to be a pub for the locals and because of this the atmosphere is warm, friendly and relaxed. All interactions with the staff and Niall were great. We didn’t want to leave but thought that we should get out and see a bit of Marlow whilst we were there. Check out is at 10 although the pub doesn’t open till 11 so we left the room door on the latch with the key in the room and shut the main front door. We went for breakfast and then came back to collect our car and confirm what we had done which was not a problem. All in all, I would recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a nice room in a good location for a very fair price. It wouldn’t be right for families but for couples or singles exploring the local area it’s a good choice and we would definitely go back.
Really quite lovely
These are rooms at the back of the pub.
It was weird asking at the bar, but the staff are very helpful. The rooms are well presented, modern and clean. I stayed in the twin room which was perfect for my needs. The breakfast "buffet" was surprising but actually pretty good. I think the only let-down was the amount of noise the other guests made when they returned at stupid o'clock, but that wasn't the fault of the venue.
