A LOVELY SURPRISE !!

It's always a gamble when you pick a weekend break, especially in this country, where the weather can play such an important part in the overall experience and that reflects on the accommodation.

The impressive pictures of the Manor House on the equally professional website attracted my wife and we made an immediate decision, hoping that our travelling partners would be equally smitten .

We were not disappointed !. The Manor House was as easy to find as the instructions enclosed and lived up to our apprehensive expectations and more. Once parked up in our designated parking area, we walked upstairs in this lovely old Grade 2 listed building, and opened the door. First impressions are all, and the initial reaction was WOW !. Throughout the appartment the decor and fittings were to the highest standard. You can see that somebody took great enjoyment and trouble in dressing each bedroom, with the highest quality furniture and bedding and a lot of thought put into each . There is a massive bath, and a lovely powerful walk in shower, both in seperate rooms, again with everything you would need available. In the combined lounge/kitchen/diner , you name it you've got it - Well done to the owners !. It is only a short walk to the local beach through very pleasant quite roads, passing either local pubs ( would recommend the Fox Inn - food was superb ) or the local shops which have just what you need, tho' i would imagine if you were staying for a week a quick trip up the road to Tescos would be a lot cheaper. Much preferred Arundel and a walk along the Harbour at Littlehampton to Bognor, but each to there own !. Once again we would like to thank Louise and her family, who was always there on the end of the phone to help and made our short but sweet visit exceptionally enjoyable. The worst part was having to go back to work the next day . The Dunlops and crew
