Dated hotel but friendly staff
Room was quiet small and the continental breakfast was limited to cereal, toast and brioche out a packet.
Staff were friendly and the hotel was clean although looks a bit dated.
We have never stayed in a hotel like this before it was like being in a sitcom
What can I say about this hotel.
The room was clean and the double bed was comfortable and clean. But the hotel itself was very tied and run down. Bits of covering were coming away from the ceiling. The bedside phone didn't work nor did the lamp. The mastic around the bath was amateurish fixed and was coming away from the walls with mould was already forming. The chain that held the plug to the sink was nor attached, leaving a hole for more water damage. They had put a single bed in the room pushed against an open window. If someone slept in that bed they could have roll over and out of the window. They had two function rooms and on the night we stayed there was a party in one and a singer and karaoke in the other. The noise went on until past 12am some of the staff were partying too. In the morning we had a continental breakfast. They only had jam not marmalade or honey. Some of the staff were having their breakfast the same time as us. There was a queue to use the toaster and not much fruit around.
