6 stars is not enough
Absolutely loved our stay, the room was lovely and really comfortable.
The breakfast was fantastic!!. But more importantly jools and everyone else were just brilliant, nothing was too much trouble, they were helpful- if I could give more stars I would!!!
Nice and Friendly
We booked spur of the moment and not too much later got an email saying the room we had booked was in the attic and had a sloping cieling.
Didn't think too much of it at the time but when we actually got there it was the attic and we had to climb 5 sets of stairs. The roof did slope and effectively cut the room in half that was usable and you had to crouch down to get in/out of bed. Our fault I suppose as we were warned. Jools offered to move us once a room came free and so we moved to a larger room which was okay. The beds in both rooms were actually two singles bolted together and were too hard for my liking. No cuddling up in the middle of the bed due to the ridge. Both rooms had no desk or anywhere to write/put a computer and no movable chairs to sit anywhere useful. Breakfast was great - lovely Full English with lots of other choices. All in all not a bad place but just didn't quite suit our needs.
