Great location for exploring York

Great location for getting to the sites of York.

Just a five minute walk to the Minster. Though no carpark, you are given an on street parking pass. Our room was a generous size with nice interior design and matching lamps, all working. The bed was very comfortable & fitted with mattress and pillow protectors, Alex Politzzi would be impressed. The bathroom was again a good size and clean. The shower was connected to the bath taps, so not the most powerful or easy to get the right temperature straight away, but it worked, it got you clean and stayed at the same temperature. Maybe it was because it was York races weekend and they were obviously busy but we weren't asked if the room was okay or if we had enjoyed our stay and no one about when we left our key at reception but that would have been nice to have been asked. Breakfast was delicious, small dining room but the full English was good portion, well cooked and tasty. Cereals, fruit juices and toast provided too. We would stay there again.
