Old school guest house

Welcomed by a friendly gentleman.

On entering you can tell the owners have a dog by the smell. We had an ensuite room with king size bed and nice touches like toiletries, a chocolate mint, biscuits on the hospitality tray and the towels shaped as swans. Comfy bed too. Only downside was the area. When we left the following morning, after hearing shouting outside, the street was full of police cars and an ambulance.

Questionable area

Area very run down.

No car park. On road parking available near by. Although I'm not sure how safe your car would be. Not the freshest of establishments. Very dated, a bit smelly and really not suitable for a single female traveller.
