Lack of attention to customer.
We enjoyed our staff in lovely Ludlow but did not really feel that welcome.
Unfortunately, they forgot to switch the immersion heater on in the cottage and we didn't realise until we had all had cold showers on Sunday morning ( we were only staying one night). Now Wifi availability.
Ran out of toilet rolls because the cottage hadn't been prepared properly for our stay( see immersion heater issue above).
Also, a small but important thing. We booked a taxi on Saturday evening to go to a restaurant out of town. Unfortunately no-one told us that we needed to book a return journey home as taxis are scarce on Saturday evenings ( we are townies) so it meant a very long wait.
Stayed for 2 nights.
The location was perfect. Down a quiet country lane but with easy access to Ludlow, only a 10 minute stroll away. The Staff were very friendly and attentive, making you feel very welcome from the first moment we arrived. Having read beforehand about how good the food was, we ate there on the first night. It was excellent in both quality and choice. As was the breakfast. Would I stay there again. Definitely yes.
