About the hotel
The traditional Inn also boasts a children's play area, large car park and spacious sheltered garden that is partly shielded by a Grade II listed barn which has been converted to offer four star Hotel style accommodation. Its charming interior of open fires, twisting oak beams and sloping ceilings bear witness to the centuries past. The warm and friendly atmosphere is enhanced by a superb range of eight cask ales, fine traditional pub food and excellent wines.
At Woodbridge Tide Mill, man has worked for over 800 years harnessing the totally reliable and predictable green energy from the tides to drive a mill producing flour and animal feed. This was the last commercially working tide mill in the UK and it has now been restored to working order. When tides permit the five metre English oak waterwheel will turn the machinery, and grain will be milled to produce flour. An imaginative timeline records the Tide Mill’s long history and fascinating owners and is complemented by interactive models, audio stations, videos, display panels, life-size cut-outs of the miller’s family and cats. There's also a Childrens' corner and dressing-up box.

Nice enough for an overnight stay
Basic room with bathroom; everything seemed clean though the bath towels looked a bit tired as did all of the decor.
Lovely relaxed visit
All round excellent experience.
A Great British pub with lovely food, choice of local beers, tasty wine and brilliant atmosphere. Staff were very welcoming & friendly. We'll be staying again when the sun is shinning & we can relax in the garden.
