Literally booked last minute
After being let down for New Year's Eve because of a friend being ill we decided to look for somewhere fairly local for a night away.
What a pleasant surprise to find this cosy, friendly & plush pub only 20 mins away. From booking to leaving everything was 1st class. Room was clean & to a high standard. Staff were helpful & nothing was a problem to them, we had the set meal which seemed expensive-but for New Year's Eve & including lobster was actually great value. Food was of very high quality. Only criticism would be the choice of live band for New Year's Eve. A good rock band (but not what you want to dance to on NYE). Would definitely stay again. First class service & accommodation
A great find, lovely room, friendly staff would stay again.
