Carr Edge is a working Beef & Sheep farm nestling in 700 acres of pastures and woodlands. Situated in the historic area of the Hadrian's Wall corridor and 1½ miles out of the village of Newbrough, Carr Edge is set in an idyllic location.

This traditional farmhouse is overlooking the South Tyne Valley, commanding spectacular views of the North Pennines and surrounding National Park areas. All 3 guest rooms are en-suite and centrally heated, boasting south facing breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and the garden area. The rooms are traditionally furnished and all have Tea and Coffee facilities, Colour televisions, hair dryers.

perfect hideaway

Beautiful countryside view and a very warm welcome.

We stayed at lambing time and woke to see the lambs hopping and skipping in the field beyond the patio door. The local pub served excellent food and the b&B breakfast was second to none.
