Relax in comfort: Commanding jaw dropping views, you will enjoy the tranquility and comfort of the Cottage. The Stable has been renovated to ensure it still encapsulates the warmth and charm of traditional country living whilst offering every luxury and convenience possible. On arrival you will be greeted by the cosy comfort of a wood burning stove ensuring a warm welcome awaits whatever the season.
The 1000 acre working beef and sheep farm has numerous footpaths and bridleways directly from your doorstep. Enjoy the landscape at your own pace; take a gentle stroll through the valley, or a longer hike along Hadrian’s Wall - all perfect ways to absorb this rich countryside. The historic ruins of Tarset Castle are also located on the Farm.
Make the most of activities in the surrounding countryside: Whatever your fitness levels, the Farm and the surrounding countryside has an activity guaranteed to suit you. As well as the walks available on the Farm, Tarset Holiday Cottages sits on both the Tarset Burn and North Tyne River which offer excellent fishing. Award winning golf courses and shooting are closely situated and for the more energetic, nearby Kielder Water and Forest offers sailing, wind surfing and challenging mountain bike courses. As you would expect, there are some excellent country pubs close-by which always offer a warm welcome to our guests.
