About the hotel
The Roxburgh offers family friendly B&B accommodation near the beach. Berwick is ideal as a base to explore the borders area - nearby there are towns and villages such as Alnwick, Seahouses, Bamburgh and Kelso to visit. Edinburgh and Newcastle are only about 1 hour by car or 40mins by train.
There are many golf courses in the area plus horse riding and other outdoor pursuits nearby. Families can also visit places like Holy Island, Haggerston Castle and Berwick holiday parks as a day visitor markets are held in Berwick on a Wednesday and Saturday. Sorry No Pets. Comfy overnight stay
Stayed the night during the week for work.
Eileen the landlady is lovely and very helpful. Nice, warm and comfy room, the bed and a good breakfast in the morning. Only downside was the shower which takes Ages to warm up.
