About the hotel
Abbey Farm Bed and Breakfast is situated in North Suffolk, on the border of Norfolk, the heart of East Anglia, just off the A143 and the A140, approximately 3 miles from Diss and 3 miles from Eye. Within easy reach of Banham Zoo, Bressingham Gardens and Steam Museum. Bury St.
Edmunds, Norwich and Ipswich are all approximately 20/22 miles. The Suffolk Heritage Coast with the beautiful towns Southwold, Dunwich and Walberswick approximately 45/50 minutes. Diss train station is approximately 3. 5 miles away with very good direct links to Norwich and London Liverpool Street. Diss is a thriving town with a market every Friday morning. TW Gaze hold a weekly auction on Friday mornings with viewings on the Thursday. Facilities in each bedroom include television, iPod docking station, hair dryer, trouser press and tea making facility. Free Wi-Fi facilities. The garden is available to our guests with picnic tables and BBQ facilities. Set in tranquil surroundings with ducks on the ponds & plenty of wild birds. There are several walking circuits one of which will lead past the church & onto Thrandeston village. Breakfast is freshly cooked to order using locally sourced produce. Breakfast is served in the Dining room between 8am and 10am. The Dining room is also available for business lunch meetings upon request, please contact before booking for availability. The Dining room may also be used in the evening for a take a away meal if desired. Please advise us if you have allergies or any special needs or request. Checking in time is from 3 pm until 8 pm, please call us if you need to make any special arrangements. We will always do our best to help. A great getaway
The room and was very well decorated and furnished with a nice rustic feel.
There were also handy guides that allowed us to make the most of our time in the area. The cooked breakfast was excellent and I would recommend it highly. Our host was very welcoming and helpful too.
