About the hotel
Situated in a quiet location on the edge of the village we are ideally located for those who wish to enjoy the facilities in Aviemore and the area without being in amongst it all. The centre of the village is about a 15-20 minute walk away, and if that's too much there are taxis available 24 hours. We try and provide a warm and friendly atmosphere for our guests to enjoy.
Hopefully you will feel at home here during your stay and should you require something that doesn't come as standard we will endeavour to provide it. Our guests enjoy free WiFi access, Flat screen tv's, digital tv channels, DVD players, tea and coffee making facilities in rooms and individually controlled central heating. We have a small DVD library for you to borrow from, and a selection of maps and guide books for the area. In the rooms there are information guides and in the foyer there are information racks full of leaflets. For breakfast there is a selection of cereals, yogurts, juices, fruit and fruit salad on our buffet, and a choice of either a full cooked breakfast, or smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, (please pre order on check in. ) We can cater for vegetarians, vegans and coeliacs with advance notice.

Very nice people but over-priced
We were made to feel very welcome by the owner.
The room was clean and comfortable and the food reasonable. However, the house is poorly insulated and the noise of family life in the upstairs rooms and the entrance hall was very intrusive - sadly this is not something that is easily fixed. I'm sorry but even for Aviemore, £80 was poor value for money
Firstly I would like to thank you for taking the time to review our
property as we are in our first year of operation and all feedback is
greatly welcomed. I am sorry you felt £80 was not value for money, you
stayed with us in the Easter school holidays and so paid our top rate, we
are comparable in price wth all our similar style Bed and Breakfasts in
Aviemore and check our rates at least weekly against them. As for the noise
you experienced from "family life" this is the first time it has been
mentioned to us so were unaware it could be an issue, both our children are
usually in bed by 7.30pm, however we have started looking into improving
the underfloor insulation in our family area. Please contact me directly if
you wish to discuss the matter further and thank you again for your
feedback as it can only help us improve the business for the future.
