Marshpools Country Inn is very remote: 'off the beaten track' is an understatement.
The room was large and comfortable, and as such, good value for money. There are relatively few facilities, and breakfast is not served until 08.45 - late on a weekday morning.
Set in beautiful countryside, The Marshpool needed in a little brightening up, inside and out.The landlady was very friendlyand helpful but we were sorry to see the pub not open its doors on a Saturday night for custom. But we have no complaints at all about the room or breakfast.
