About the hotel
The Farmyard Inn is situated in the Peak District National Park, an area where high moorlands contrast with lush valleys and stunning limestone gorges. The village of Youlgrave (or Youlgreave) sprawls along the ridge of a south facing hillside above Bradford Dale, one of the many walks that pass through the village. The Inn has features which date back more than 300 years and was formerly a farm - becoming an Inn in 1829, hence the unique name.
The warm and friendly atmosphere of the Inn is accompanied by freshly prepared home-made meals and snacks. Relax by the roaring log fire or settle down in the snug. We have four letting bedrooms - the Pig Sty, Sheep Pen, Cow Shed and Stable. All rooms are En-suite, with tea and coffee making facilities, adjustable heating and TV. Direct access from the car park is available to the rooms, with your own key to come and go as you please. Breakfast is served in the dining room, adjacent to the accommodation wing.

Excellent B&B in a fantastic location
So pleased we booked the Farmyard inn for a couple nights away.
The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was fantastic. Sue even saved us a table in their busy restaurant which was great because we had had a long drive and the last thing we wanted to do was go out and search for food. Thank you for the lovely stay. We will be back.
The Farmyard Inn
Warm and friendly Inn with a great breakfast and a lovely evening menu.
Although can we only stayed one Friday night, nothing was too much trouble. The warm and helpful staff made you feel part of this very friendly village pub. The accommodation was in a slightly separate part off the inn and this was very warm and cosy. We had an evening meal which was very tasty, generous and reasonable. I would definitely stay again if I were in the area.
