Originally named after an inn that stood within the grounds, the main house is supported by Knightrider House, The Coach House and Gardener's Cottage. Having been hidden and neglected for over a decade, there has been a considerable renovation programme carried out on both the house and its gardens which are now open to the public.
Set within the town and adjacent to the River Stour, surrounded by three-and-a-half acres of delightful Lutyens and Jekyll gardens and almost entirely encircled by the old city walls of Sandwich, the house is afforded a remarkable level of privacy.
Accommodation within reflects the integrity of the house and gardens with unmatched decadence and a truly world class feel to each room. Like a fine claret leaving you with a rounded after-taste, our rooms are tailored for the connoisseur.
