Birthday celebration weekend
We saw Ferry Harty when looking up Leysdown and thought it looked great so went for a drink to see for ourselves.
It looked great and we booked to have a meal and stay overnight. It was a very different experience to other places we have stayed. The starter for the 4 of us was exceptional, the main meal was very tasty if different to the norm and we had liquors rather than dessert. It was very unrushed and pleasant experience. Criticism we sat next to an outside door and it was bad rain and wind outside therefore it was cold with draught coming through door and although there was a curtain rail which would have benefited from having heavy curtains up there were no curtains. The stairs up to the room are very very steep and narrow so anyone with knee, leg or arthritic problems they are not good. The room was great apart from very little sleep due to creaking (very badly) bed every time you turned over and the bed could do with being replaced. That said staff were great, our stay was great and we would stay again and would recommend to others.
The room was extremely clean and comfortable.
The breakfast was amazing with local fresh produce and the best sausages ever. Definitely stay here again.
