A BRILLIANT PLACE TO STAY
Convenient for Earls Court tube this hotel is situated in a reasonably quiet area.
The room was very clean and comfortable and had its own internal stairway although the shower room was just a modicum small for moving about. The staff were simply first class and the continental breakfast had a wide choice o excellent fresh food. Other breakfast options were available but we certainly did not need them.
Nice but very noisy so I wish I hadn't stayed there
I had a really nice room, it all looked very promising, great shower, lots of light, privacy, nice staff, then it all got ruined at 05:00 with the most horrific noise from upstairs, loud foreign voices and the dragging around of furniture.
It startled me from my sleep so badly I had palpitations, the crashing and shouting noises made me think something seriously awful was going on. I called reception who I believe did go and speak to the 'women' upstairs, however I had to go to work on only 1 hour 50 mins sleep, (I was working until 3am so hadn't long been in bed and I couldn't sleep again after the noise) I had to do a 12 hour shift that day and then had a 120 mile drive home, thanks to the noise and sleep deprivation I still feel rubbish 2 days later. I'm not happy.
