Beautiful place and welcoming hosts
Brandelhow Guest House was my first introduction to Guesthouses in the UK and I was delightfully surprised by what Mel and Lainy provided.
Lovely room and decor with thoughtful additions ( nail file, sewing Kit, little cooler for milk, fruit teas, hot chocolate, very tasty biscuits) in a thoughtfully decorated terrace very close to the centre of Penrith. I could walk everywhere and their recommended restaurants were great. I didn't have the cooked breakfast option but the homemade fruit dishes ( berries, apricots) were exquisite as well as the homemade toasted bun and milk bread. My room looked out on a small park that incorporated the history of the Penrith area in word and symbols, is child friendly , has a central tree and wonderful flowers. I couldn't have asked for more!
