Stuart was the perfect host.
We telephoned to say we would be late and he offered to book us a table at the local restaurant / pub.
The room was perfect for us; clean and with towels and even better than most standard hotels.
Stuart asked us when we wanted breakfast and gave us a choice -we had a full English with all the trimmings.
Stuart offered suggestions on things to do and see.
The place had a quiet, friendly atmosphere and was easily accessible from M6. It was only a short drive to Newby bridge at the bottom of windermere or browness on Windermere (halfway up Windermere)
All in all a great place to stay
