Lovely country getaway
Lovely cottage, nice and peaceful yet only a couple of miles from nearest village.
Everything you could want for a quiet getaway, if going be sure to visit garden centre less than a mile away, lovely food and great place for kids. Cottage was very clean and comfortable, really couldn't fault it and the views out of patio doors were lovely. It is on a working farm but that really did not disturb us in the slightest. I would definitely recommend here and would happily visit again.
This is the second time we have stayed here.
It is a lovely converted barn. Just what you need Lanchester is less than five minutes away in the car were there are great places to eat. It is a remote and quiet place with all mod cons everything you need. There was a very nice bottle of wine on the table waiting for us when we arrived which we thought was a lovely touch. Would recommend it. If we go back to that part of the country we will stay again!
