Kim & Garry offer you a warm welcome to The Mary Tavy Inn. Located on the edge of Dartmoor approx 4 miles from the historic town of Tavistock which has been awarded World Heritage Status as part of the eastern Gateway to the Cornish Mining World. With its Pannier Market, Swimming Pool, Music Festivals, Golf Course and annual Goose Fair it has much to offer. We are on located on Route 27 of the national cycle route, and in the heart of good walking country. Our bar has a large wood burning fire & Real Ales which offers a very warm welcome after a day out walking, cycling, horse riding, Fishing or sight seeing at the many attractions in the area. Room Notes: THE OLD SMITHY The Old Smithy with it’s vaulted ceiling is a detached unit with a super king sized bed. This room can be used as a Double or Twin. There is plenty of room for a cot. In the En Suite Bathroom is a large walk in shower with glass door. There is also a shaver socket. The bedroom it is equipped with Tea, Coffee or Hot Chocolate making facilities, along with biscuits to nibble on. There is a flat screen wall mounted TV with multi channels, Radio Alarm Clock and Hair Dryer. One of the windows gives you views of the court yard and the other one gives you fantastic views across the valley towards Wheals Betsy, Horndon and Brentor.
