An excellent B&B
The location of the Britannia is good for visiting Par and Fowey.
The food and service in the restaurant was excellent. Rooms very warm and clean. We would certainly stay again.
My partner and myself stayed in the suite 1 first impressions was the room clean and tidy and looked very nice, The suite was at the very top of the hotel in the roof area, When I entered the room I noticed that there was a fan then it came apparent that there was no air conditioning in the room which we found out being in the roof area the room got very hot and the only thing you could open was the velux window in the roof which could not be opened when it's raining.
The days we stayed the weather was not good and the temp out side was around 20c but the room was very warm which made the our stay uncomfortable in the nights, Also we found that the TV would not work when it was raining which is something they need to sort out, also they advertise free wifi in all suite rooms which we found also was temperamental and also would not work in the when it was raining, When I asked a member of staff about the wifi they told me due to the walls being so thick the signal strength is not good and the weather effects the signal, One of the reasons I picked the hotel was the fact that they have free wifi, I believe that they need to sort the issue out with the TV signal and the wifi as you are not getting the full service you paid for
