Friendly service and very comfortable bed.
I was a little concerned about our stay after reading previous reviews regarding the off site parking and the live music, but it wasn't actually a problem for my husband and I.
Yes the parking is at the top of a hill but only a very short walk, we were able to drop our luggage at the pub and then go and park the car and likewise on leaving we collected the car and then picked our luggage up.it was also very reasonable at just over £5 for 24 hours. The Live music may not have been to our taste, but after an evening out for a meal in Falmouth we had a couple of drinks back at the Prince of Wales and the music finished promptly at midnight, which is not unreasonable for a holiday resort. The room was exceptionally clean and the bed very comfy. The landlord and landlady were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. I would have no hesitation in staying here again for a night again if passing through Falmouth again.
Prince of Wales
Pros: Location, cleanliness of room, breakfast, draught beers, price.
Cons: Seagulls. I put seagulls down as a con, although this is obviously not the fault of the POW, because there seemed to be a flock of them serenading us at dawn. If you are a light sleeper like I am then it was an effective alarm. All in all, a good stay and one I will happily repeat.
