Calm Charm

A most friendly, pleasant and comfortable house, excellently restored from an old timber framed dwelling.

Even the two resident cats contributed to a memorable stay. I had to ask several times at various houses in the vicinity, it was a little difficult to find but I shall certainly return whenever I can.

Cosy and comfortable

We arrived at Brook House to a warm welcome from the owner and found that we were the only people staying that particular night.

Our room was very pretty, comfortable and cosy and had all we needed. We were treated to a very pleasant full English breakfast the next morning and, with only us there, felt quite pampered.
