The Village Inn

The Village Inn looked a little tired all round however the room we stayed in, containing 1 double and 1 single bed was clean and very comfortable with good amenities including toiletries, de-caff coffee and green tea.

The en suite was a little cramped however contained a bath and overhead shower. Although it didn't effect our stay the towel rail in this room was broken and the bath had groves in the base presumably caused by the shower head being dropped many times.

The Village Inn

The lady serving breakfast was very pleasant and very helpful.

Breakfast was good but sadly the accommodation was rated as 4 star and that was not the case!. The shower was very basic and was very temperamental!. The room was basic and the decor dated. The bed was uncomfortable.
