Very comfortable stay.

Centrally located very comfortable 3star hotel, very good breakfast and good value evening dinner served by willing pleasant servers.

Room 6 was clean and warm with views of the river Rothay. Plenty of space in the car park and booked to return next year.

Bridge House Hotel

Lovely clean hotel with very friendly staff.

Stayed B&B and the breakfasts were lovely. There is large carpark so there is no problem with parking and the hotel is right in the middle of the village. Bus service to Keswick and Windermere pass the hotel so you can even leave the car behind for a day.

There is a lounge with a few books and games. The only problem we had was the wifi. Even sat in the lounge if was difficult to get on to it and then the signal wasn't very good. Even the family 'techie' had difficulty. Personally I wouldn't have noticed that much but we had teenagers with us and no wifi can mean the end of the world. This was our second stay here and we had a lovely time. It's a little bit dated compared to the more swish modern hotels nearby but it's clean, comfortable, the staff are nice and you can take the family pooch. I would definitely stay here again.
