Where to start.
Arrived mid-afternoon, found the room eventually (signs would have been useful). Room was too small for the double bed and bunk beds that were in there. There were 3 adults in our group and it was definitely a tight squeeze. Found that there was no hot water so reported it, they acknowledged my text but I did not hear anymore about it. Luckily had family nearby so was able to have showers at their homes. Tea and coffee making facilities are available but not in the room, it was in the main hallway which had no working lights as the bulbs were missing. The main front door did not lock so security was not good. The room had cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and no natural light, the main light fitting was also too dim.
Short stay location
The experience was a little disappointing.
Firstly confirmation received just before travel only made reference to 1 accommodation booked. We had booked 2 rooms. (A double and a single). The double room was very small and dark. The window was fitted with opaque glass and therefore the room was very dark. Shower room/wash room was clean and satisfactory. The double room was at the end of a small corridor and although there were 2 light fittings in this hallway there were no bulbs in either. Coming back in the dark was difficult. The single room was not good. Although adequate in size in was not well cleaned. There were chocolate papers under the bed and under the bed was very dusty. On the inside of the room there were spiders webs with large spiders in them although dead. Again in the small entranceway there was 1 light fitting but no bulb was fitted. The outside door into the accommodation of this area would not lock and the only lock therefore was on the bedroom door. As the single room shared the washroom facilities.there was no security if you going to the washing facilities as well as mo lighting.
