perfect for a stop over.
shower was cold.
Good Points ....
Nice village setting, Friendly Staff, Excellent Breakfast. Disappointing Points .... Small bedroom ie when opening the door to the room it was almost touching the bed. Small T.V that kept freezing / losing the picture. Complimentary tea tray consisted of 'two' teabags. Paint flaking on the bottom of the bath. Expensive drinks in the bar ie Pint of Lager + G & T = £9.65 (£5 pint)
I am possibly being over critical .... if the room had cost in the region of £50 per night then that would have been about right, however £100 per night was excessive (admittedly I had a £20 Laterooms discount / offer). For a room costing £100 per night I expected something resembling 4* .... I would put it in the 2 / 3* category.
