About the hotel
Grantham House is a traditional stone built house in Barmouth where Carol and Adrian will be delighted to welcome you all year round. We are a short easy walk from the beach and the town with its variety of independent shops, cafes, restaurants and bars where you can enjoy a drink and a meal or just sit, enjoy the view and watch the world go by. We have a choice of two rooms; a luxury En-suite King size double that boasts a sea view or our standard double room with King size bed and its very own private bathroom .
This room is at the back of the house with a view of a courtyard and waterfall and is a quiet welcoming haven far from the seasonal hustle bustle of Barmouth. Our rooms have been stylishly decorated and have all the amenities you would expect. Both bathrooms have over bath showers and high quality towels, warmed by heated towel rails. Breakfast is served in our dining room and is a relaxed affair. Help yourself to the buffet, consisting of fruit juices and cereals, fresh fruit and yogurts before enjoying a full Welsh or a breakfast of your choosing from our menu. This is followed of course by toast from home made bread, jams and marmalade. We use locally sourced products wherever possible which are of the highest quality. We are confident that you will agree! With only two lovely guest rooms you are assured of a warm welcome at all times. Attentive without being intrusive we aim to look after your every need and not having the space or facilities for young children, you can be assured of a peaceful and relaxing stay. Barmouth is one of the most picturesque resorts of the Welsh coast and is surrounded by the splendour of the Snowdonia National Park. Enjoy the blue flag beach and strolling around the old town and harbour where you will discover plenty of places to eat and drink. While enjoying your food and drinks you will have plenty of time to marvel at the views of the stunning Mawddach Estuary. We look forward to welcoming you to our home soon.

The Grantham House experience
On stepping though the door of Grantham House it wraps itself around you and welcomes you.
An eclectic mix of décor and soft furnishings influenced from a range of styles, bursting with vibrant colours and attention to detail draw you in while reflecting the characters of Adrain and Carol the delightful hosts. On arrival a generous tea tray greeted us with China cups , saucers and cookies. The rooms are luxurious having comfortable beds, stylish furnishings, ample storage and a wealth of goodies including chocolates, biscuits, Egyptian cotton towels, fluffy bathrobes , a selection of paperbacks and a television. Breakfast times were arranged to our needs and felt like a social occasion with our fellow guests with a breakfast menu tailored to our own choice. Grantham House is a gem which I am reluctant to share with anyone, literally a home from home where nothing is too much trouble, relaxed, immaculate and we will be returning to again and again.
what can you say carol and Adrian perfect hosts, room was great spotless and everything you can ever need, as for the bed the best nights sleep had in ages.
Followed by a great breakfast the score of 6 on here is not enough it's definitely a 10/10
