Ideal for a short break.
Greeted as we arrived in the car park, the 'famous' cream tea was beautifully presented & freshly made in the aga outstanding. This accommodation has olde world charm, what some have called clutter is full of character & reminded me of staying with an elderly relative. The room had a large comfy bed & a little settee for relaxing. Huge bathroom with lovely scented soaps. Breakfast cooked by our host on the aga almost too many ingrediants to name, Tony was very friendly & entertaining. Amazing countryside with a waterfall at the bottom of the hill 20 min walk into the village along by the river. If you're a walker Tony has many ideas for long & short walks. Very peaceful & relaxing place to stay, like staying with a friend.
