Nice reception area, that's about it!

I stayed for one night on business, the WiFi was non existent in my room and shockingly poor in reception - despite paying £10 for the privilege.

I had to wait 45 mins for my room, only to be told it still wasn't ready at 3.30pm. Missed an important meeting because of this. I demanded any room and was "upgraded" to a twin. The room was very basic and was 40 years overdue a refurb. I echo the other reviews - the walls are very thin and you can hear everything. The corridor fire doors slamming all night too. Luckily I travel with ear plugs. The toilet seat was broken, and one of the complimemtary shower gel packs was ripped open, used and not replaced. I avoided the breakfast after reading the reviews the night before. All in all, very disappointing for the premium price paid. I won't stay again and advise you don't either.

Fawlty Towers Revisited

This was like an episode from Fawlty Towers we stayed 5 nights and it was like a comedy of errors everyday fire alarms going off randomly each day, lift not working, no running water, staff knocking on your door at midnight accusing us of smoking in the room, no Wi Fi in the room, no fridge, reception staff unable to give me a line out to makes an international pho call because the wifi did not work and so the list goes on - very disappointing.

We came back to this area as we had such a good experience at London house Hotel the previous week unfortunately they were fully booked - I now understand why.
