A wonderful little B&B
We only stayed one night to walk a little of the pennine way.
We were made welcome on our arrival. The room is larger than many B%B's. There were shower robes provided as well as the usual toiletries and towel's. The house was quiet and the bed comfortable. There are a selection on dvd's if you want to chill out after a days walking.
The two pub's within walking distance both made us welcome..one is a little on the posh side and serves lovely food, the other more of a local drinker's pub but very welcoming.
Altogether a lovely little B&B in a lovely village.
For an extremely late booking we had a very good stay at the swanson house my family and I were made to feel very welcome would defined back when next in the area
