The service was friendly and attentive without being in your face.

We had to leave a day early and the staff were very accommodating of the change of plan at short notice. The grounds could do with a bit of attention; hedges, trees and shrubs need to be managed. The highlight was the food. The public spaces could do with a makeover as there is an odd mix of modern refurbishment and some lovely older furniture. We would stay there again; the criticisms are points of detail.
