Looks can be deceiving
The outside of the Newbridge Hotel is actually the same as the Newbridge Arms, a rather traditional working-man's pub (nothing wrong with that) and Reception is behind the Bar.
Walking into the pub wearing a suit and tie can be unnerving to someone who is not used to such a pub and you do stick out as unusual in such garb. The welcome is, however, friendly and the room is clean, tidy, quiet and well equipped. My only reservations were with the car park which is in a bit of a state and would benefit from some TLC. It leaves you thinking that your car may not be there when you return to it in the morning. Otherwise a pleasing addition to my list of local accommodation venues.
Room Door didn't lock.
shower holder loose and hanging off. shower cubicle base had a long crack in it. won't be going back there again.
