Cheap, nice pub and attractive looking rooms but you'll be lucky if you get a good nights sleep!
I stayed in No.
4 and the room was nice enough to look at but the bathroom was fairly stained and could have done with a good scrub. The hallway and stairs leading to the rooms were filthy. The room itself was attractive but the walls are paper thin and the floor boards incrediably creaky. I could hear everything said in the rooms on either side of me and was even woken in the night by the gentleman next door snoring. Someone's alarm went off at 6am, it may as well have been mine it was so loud. The bed was extremely uncomfortbale with springs poking out everywhere, it was however clean so that was a bonus. I had an extremely restless night and woke to a very sore neck due to sleeping in the awful bed. Wouldn't stay here again.
