100% would recommend it to a friend
My wife and I stayed here recently for a nights stay.
Although the House is located on the edge of Betws y Coed (on the main A5 road into town), its elevated position above the road didn't make the room noisy and we had a good nights sleep. However, if you're injured or infirm, you may want to get dropped off at the front-door or look elsewhere as the property is located at the top of some steep steps from where you park. The room itself was spotless and warm and (caretaker) owner Malcolm was very pleasant. Breakfast was lovely. I would definitely recommend to others because of the “Malcolm Factor” but with the caveat above.
We stayed one night due to proximity to an attraction centre (10) and wished we had spent our second night their as it's sister attraction venue is a relatively short distance (15 Mile).
The standard was excellent in every respect, and far outshone the accommodation we got at Bethesda for a very similar price. The warm welcome and friendly approach of the owners enhanced the actual facilities which are excellent in their own right. I rarely recommend anywhere but make an exception in this case.
