Some confusion about booking--cleared up OK.
Hanger not prpperly attached to wall--hanging off.No toilet-brush.Brief explanation of shower
function would have been welcome.Reception often absent---otherwise OK.Pleasantly quiet,
not a good first impression. I asked for a quiet room as I have an autistic son who doesn't sleep well. We got the third floor and the room stank of cooking, coming from an extractor vent right outside the window. It was also noisy, even with the window closed.
Bathroom was pretty grotty, widow wouldn't shut, loo roll holder broken, shower screen needed much encouraging to close, the light on the mirror wouldn't switch off.
Bed headboard nailed to wall but there was a 6 inch gap which was disgustingly grotty.
Beds were comfy but the flat sheet wasn't big enough.
Room next door was occupied by a noisy member of staff who couldn't close their door quietly.
£5 per head for breakfast. What a rip off. I didn't want a couple of the items which were automatically brought without us ordering them but I wasn't offered extra of the things I did want. so my fiver got me one egg, one bit of bacon, one bit of fried bread and some tea and toast.
Served by yet more miserable staff. Do yourself a favour. Go somewhere else!
