Nice country inn
A nice stay at a country inn.
Have not done this for a while and quite enjoyed it. The bathroom was a bit small but, it beats sharing a bathroom with all other guests.
room in stable conversion
Timber beams nice but covered in dust.
Bathroom very narrow and have to sit sideways on the toilet if you are tall like us, There are Hunt kennels nearby and you can hear yapping dogs if the bedroom windows are open, Not good when woken at 3a.m. Breakfast is served in a communal kitchen and you are seated at a long farmhouse table. We had no problem with that as its nice to talk with other guests. You can pay an extra £5 to have a cooked breakfast although no choice of eggs. On our second morning the muesli container hadn't been refilled and there were no croissants or pastries.
