although my room was slightly dated the standard of service overcame this, brealfast was good but better signage indicating the location of the dining room would have been useful as a mix up with the cafe was time wasting.
Facilities in room
We were given a family room i.e.
one double, one single bed - there was one very, very low chair only therefore one of us had to sit on the bed whenever we watched TV. There were 3 hooks on the wall located behind the dressing table to hang coats on and no wardrobe or means of hanging things up. For 2 people and a child for example staying a week with the clothes required was an impossibility to store anything. There were no drawers except small ones in bedside tables. The dining room had not been hoovered at all during our stay and bread dropped under a chair before we arrived was still there when we left. Considering the rating given we expected better.
