About the hotel
A collection of eleven affordable boutique bedrooms in the heart of Ilkley, each named after the local moors. We have English styled rooms inspired by the local cloth industries, along with rooms that nod to the French country style. Disappointed with the hotel
Breakfast was nice the first day and unacceptable the 2nd day as the bacon was totally burnt, they explained that they have 2 chefs who cook differently.
Both days I asked for sliced white toast with the breakfast, never got it the first day and had to ask for it again the 2nd day. The waitress pushed the table against the wall without warning whilst I was sat at the table, very rude. Check out was an issue and took so long my lift had to come through the car park barrier costing £3 as my lift was blocking the access to the car park. The first room was noisy due to an adjoining internal door. The 2nd room, the cleaner put all the shower gel etc on the sink, and I had to get out of the hot shower to get it. It needs to be put on the side of the bath like in the other room. The lock stuck on Appletreewick room and could be tricky if you rushed it, if there was a fire you may not get out easily. For a boutique hotel it needs to be improved and if so I would stay again.

My only criticism is that we had booked a superior room and I thought the room would be bigger than it was.
