Bad and cold customer service.
Big but poor and cold room (no heating!)
When you describe the Hotel Bijou "Bad and cold", you write huge falsehoods because our staff is good, warm and polite; also, when you write the room is poor and cold you are insulting us because the room where you stayed (a big room for 3 people: the only true thing you wrote...) is very cosy and equipped with balcony too; also, you say a big lie because the room is not cold: that is absolutely not possible because we had a very hot November in Florence during this 2015 (the hottest November ever), so your falsehood is also certified by the Italian weather service! So, when you write "Bad and cold" surely you do not realize that you are talking about yourself and your bad mood. So, why did you have a bad mood? Probably because you demanded a 3-4 stars hotel, but you chose the Hotel Bijou, that is a 2 STARS hotel, obviously paying a 2 stars rate (or less, because you paid only euro 44 per a triple room, while you were only 2 people). So, the problem of your "bad" (and false and insulting) review is you made a great error because you chose the wrong hotel and wasted your money: for the next time, book a 3-4 stars hotel and ask them if you can get a 1-2 stars rate (good luck).

This hotel was a really mixed bag.
The roof terrace is amazing. The room and the bedding were very clean. Good convenient location if you're travelling by train. I wouldn't really recommend the twin room as it was very small, austere, and somewhat noisy from trucks outside. We also couldn't get the external shutter open so were in the dark, although this may have been our error. The doubles looked nice from glimpses through open doors, All in all it's fine if you want a cheap bolthole and you're not intending to spend any time there. One member of staff was friendly (the night staff) but another who was there more often was very unfriendly which was quite off-putting especially as we had to walk past his desk to get to the bathroom.
