Extremely Rude Desk Clerks/Managers
I would take this hotel off of your list of acceptable hotels in Rome.
The reception desk service was beyond poor, it was downright hostile at all times. It is also not convenient to anything for a tourist. Support staff was very nice, however.
Garden Room 503
The room we stayed in was lovely, very simple, calming and modern - exactly what we were looking for.
There was a mini-bar, which we used as a fridge while we stayed and a free safe. The room was kept spotless. It could be a little noisy when staff passed outside but extremely tranquil for the centre of bustling Rome. There was a wide selection for breakfast and a lovely area to sit outside. I definitely recommend paying for the 3-7 day bus tickets to get around - although it is only a short walk into town, the walking miles soon add up once you have been round all the sites and it is a blessing to hop on a bus that takes you straight to your door on the way home (We mostly used Bus 62, but there are plenty). Also recommend the zoo!
