New Forest Break
We stayed at The Bosuns Chair for 2 nights as we had booked a Pony Trek through the New Forest at a nearby Riding School in New Milton Had a great stay and all the staff were very pleasant and helpful, the barmaid was great at giving you advice on where to visit.
The hotel is a bit tired to be frank but very clean, quiet and warm, and the full English breakfast was brilliant, so what more do you need. The waitress at breakfast was really lovely, she worked so hard to make sure we were really looked after and so polite and happy she got our day off to a great start. It was fun going down to the bar for a draught beer but the food menu is rather limited to just pies. However there are lots of fabulous eating places all within a few minutes walk so thats not a problem. So much to do in Lymington, had drinks outside the pub on the quay and they have a great market on Saturday morning. We were originally looking for a country hotel in the forest but pleased we chose to stay at The Bosuns Chair in the town as there was so much more to do. We would definitely stay there again.
